The sealing ring element can be any elastomeric material or more sophisticated spring-energized PTFE lip seals. The kit is suitable for raised-face and flat-face flanges in ANSI Class 150, 300 and 600 service, and provides electrical isolation for cathodic protection systems, dissimilar-metal flange isolation and flange face corrosion mitigation. The kit is available in ring (Type F) style or full-face (Type E) style, with near zero creep relaxation for heat exchangers, high-vibration and thermal-cycling service. Core materials include NEMA G-10 (compressive 66,000 psi, dielectric 800 VPM, continuous 150°C) and NEMA G-11 (compressive 50,000 psi, dielectric 550 VPM, continuous 200°C).
